Stormy Seas

Up from the depths, when you are as big as a Blue Whale a little rough water isn’t a problem. Another watercolor in what seems to be becoming a series of Blue Whales. The colors in this painting lend themselves to the light and transparent qualities that the medium is famous for. A little sunshine to add a bit of green reflections that blend with the blues and the grays of the water. Reflections bounce off the foam the waves are creating the sense the seas are indeed rough. Can you feel the wind blowing?
