Ruby Throated Hummingbird

Speed freaks, who are agressive and a never ending source of entertainment. Sporting  irridescent colors and the ability to move with astounding speed it’s as if they are tiny little spaceships that just rocket from place to place. For one so tiny they have huge attitudes and don’t share well. Their battles are epic and frequent. I have two pairs that are always competing for the feeders. Mine returned in early April.  I will miss them when they leave. It always makes me happy to see them return.
