Chasing The Moon

I am working on a series of contemporary brightly colored watercolors. “Chasing The Moon” is the first. I have always painted in a more controlled style and have been trying to loosen up a little. So I will lay down the color with no particular idea in mind and let the color and shapes dictate the finished image. I have to admit it’s fun.

Painted Valley

Saddle Bronc horse of the Year in 2010.

A cowboy’s horse if there ever was one, some of you may recognize him. I might add not many can ride him. Referenced from a photo I took of Painted Valley when Sam and I were in Pueblo Colorado . He has always been a favorite of mine. His lineage has proven him as one of the most outstanding broncs of all time.
