Chasing The Moon

I am working on a series of contemporary brightly colored watercolors. “Chasing The Moon” is the first. I have always painted in a more controlled style and have been trying to loosen up a little. So I will lay down the color with no particular idea in mind and let the color and shapes dictate the finished image. I have to admit it’s fun.

Tooled Leather and Beads have been a passion of mine since childhood.I have collected Native American Indian moccasins and clothing for years. I have dabbled in both leather work and beading only to discover just how difficult it is, those to have the patients and talent to produce the beautiful items that any collector would treasure are to be applauded. This graphic image took much longer that I had originally anticipated but I am happy with the finished product. The design concept originated with a hand crafted rope can. For those of you unfamiliar, it is part of the gear used by professional cowboys.

The original image is an Illustrator Vector, available for download in the Vector Section of the shop.
