Chasing The Moon

I am working on a series of contemporary brightly colored watercolors. “Chasing The Moon” is the first. I have always painted in a more controlled style and have been trying to loosen up a little. So I will lay down the color with no particular idea in mind and let the color and shapes dictate the finished image. I have to admit it’s fun.

A Loving Hand

Making that connection, the bond between horse and man can be a strong one. There really isn’t anything more exciting than foaling time. The anticipation has finally been satisfied. Will it be a colt or a filly, will all four legs be strait and true, the color, the markings, conformation is an important factor as you are hoping the colt possess the traits mom and dad have will be carried on or even improved. Now you get to know this wonderful new addition.  Most don’t realize the work that is required to see a foal mature and develop into the horse he was designed to be.  With the right breeding, proper training and a lot of love you may be meeting a future champion.
